Season 6: Slow Travel

Let’s slow down together and embark on immersive adventures all over Scotland!

Season 6 of Wild for Scotland invites you to slow it down, reduce the speed with which you travel and find ways to be more present on your journey to Scotland.

Listen to the trailer now:

Wild for Scotland has always been a podcast that encourages you to slow down, stop for a moment in your travels, and learn something about the places you visit. In this season, storyteller and host Kathi Kamleitner will slow down even more consciously to tell you immersive stories about big places and small details.

“One of the reasons I started this podcast was to explore places off the beaten path, linger in moments of joy and connectedness, and give space to the little things that make my adventures around Scotland so special. I wanted to slow down and shine a light on tiny details, hidden histories and interesting people. I wanted to you to slow down with me. And in this sixth season of Wild for Scotland, we will do just that.”

From physically slowing down on self-powered journeys across the Hebridean islands, to calming our minds and connecting with nature around us. We’ll travel by bike and on foot, explore off-beat and off-season. We’ll learn about history and age-old traditions, listen to tunes and drown out the noise.

Most importantly, we’ll take it slow, soaking up our surroundings, paying attention to the littlest details, and finding joy in the small things all around us.

In addition to the stories, this season features voices from locals who are experts in capturing a moment in time, and will help us find ways to be fully present on our adventures:

Tune in soon for season 6 of Wild for Scotland!
