Inspired by Scotland’s Year of Stories, the new season of Wild for Scotland dives into the stories and lives of the people of Scotland.
Launching on 12 April 2022, this season puts a spotlight on people who have made Scotland their home and share their passion for the country with locals and visitors through tours, events and their inspiring businesses. Across 10 episodes, host Kathi will tell immersive stories from the time she spent with her guests, and share the conversations she’s had with them.
Kathi says, ‘Over the years, I have met so many people on my travels around Scotland who have fascinating stories to share. I’ve often felt inspired by these encounters and I’m so excited to finally share some of them on my podcast.’
Across the season, you’ll travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh, the waters of the west coast and deep into the Scottish Highlands. But the stories are not always what you’d expect. Far from focussing on Scotland’s stereotypes, Wild for Scotland will peel back the layers to find unusual and often untold stories about Scotland.
‘It was very important to me, to look beyond the tartan and the whisky, and find voices that aren’t always part of our conversations about Scottish history and traditions.’
From Edinburgh’s Black history to the oldest rocks in Scotland – tune in for season 3 of Wild for Scotland!
