Episode 36 (Season 4): Small island life with Isebail Mackinnon
Join me for a conversation with Canna native Isebail Mackinnon whose family has lived on the Isle of Canna for generations. We’ll talk about life on Canna, what it takes to live and thrive on a small Scottish island and her favourite places to visit.
Isebail Mackinnon is a director of the Isle of Canna Community Development Trust and runs the Canna Campsite. She returned to Canna after many years of working in London and abroad – and saw an island with a massive potential for sustainable development.
If you’ve never heard of Canna before, listen to last week’s episode Of Stacks and Stones.
Tune in for my conversation with Isebail in which we cover:
- What brought Isebail back to the Isle of Canna,
- What it takes to live and thrive on such a small island,
- Why Canna isn’t as remote as you might think,
- Her favourite places to visit on the Isle of Canna, and more!
