Episode 61: ‘Icons of the Kingdom’ – A Winter Trip to Fife
Let me take you on a wintery adventure to peel back the layers of history and find out what makes Fife such a special place to visit!
‘Icons of the Kingdom’ is an episode about the wonders of Fife. From the majestic Forth Bridge in North Queensferry we peel back the layers of history to learn about Pictish stone carvings and the formation of the Wemyss sea caves. We discover what outdoor adventures to enjoy and embark on a walk on the Fife Coastal Path, a trip to Cambo Gardens and an unforgettable beach sauna session at Wild Scottish Saunas.
To round off our wintery journey through Fife, we’ll indulge in its tasty side and visit Ardross Farm Shop, Bowhouse Market and Kingsbarns Distillery.
Along the way, we hear from locals who share their passion for Fife and tell us more.
Thanks to Andrew Simpson aka the Lucky Sporran Tour Guide, Sue Hamstead from Save Wemyss Ancient Caves Society, Keri Ivans from Cambo Gardens, Claire Pollock from Ardross Farm Shop, Rosie Jack from Bowhouse and Michael van der Veen from Kingsbarns Distillery for lending their voices and expertise.
