Episode 3: ‘Out of Nowhere’ – Isle of Barra
What happens when you embark on a big solo hike – and then you panic? This episode of Wild for Scotland sees us embarking on a big adventure on the Isle of Barra.
‘Out of Nowhere’ is a story about my first day on the Hebridean Way – 155-mile long-distance trail across the Outer Hebrides. I take you with me on the ferry to Castlebay, my journey to the start of the hike and up into the hills of Barra. And as you can imagine – not everything went entirely to plan…
After the story, I share my top 5 tips with you to get the most out of your time on Barra when you visit.
